Giving attention to...

I'd like to ask a simple question. What do you give most of your attention to in your life?

By questioning, we can know ourselves better sometimes. The answer is to is, what you pay attention to most is the thing/person you have most love for. If you give utmost attention to a person, that means you love that person, simple as that. If you only care a lot about your car, you are more of a lover to your car than the people around you.

So put aside your strong egoistic mind and share you love with the people around you. It will make this world a better place. I understand it is not easy and most of us her are self-driven and selfish. We only care when it has tangible benefits to us. Isn't that pitiful?

When you give attention to someone, you are channeling strong love energy to them, and the energies from both parties will connect, which is subtle but the person can still pick it up.

Giving attention is equally rewarding when you give it to whatever you are doing. The egoic mind draws you into its unreal world of thought. Giving your attention, instead, to whatever is going on in the moment is an act of loving life rather than rejecting it by escaping into the mental world of the ego.

It’s the only place where it is possible to experience real love, acceptance, contentment, peace, and joy. And all you have to do is put your attention on what is happening now instead of on the mind.

At a wedding party

Recently I attended a colleague's wedding party. I did not know the people there except my ex colleague (I'm glad he still remembers me). While driving on the way there, I was still wondering whether I should make a U turn or not. There were so many wonderful people there and I really had a great time. This is the first time I felt so at ease amongst the strangers. I have even found a couple of guys who share their msn addresses with me. Well, could it be I have improved on my interpersonal skills?

Socially, I'm always okay but I still lack many of the traits that make up a great human being with charisma. I understand that trait could be something that comes natural so I'm not that apathetic on that.

I do judge other people, but don’t get me wrong; I’m still hardest on myself. I need to learn to ease up on others as well as myself.

Affirmative Thought

Well I like that in the movie "The Secret" they say that an affirmative thought is a few times more powerful than a negative thought. That's extremely soothing mentally because you don't have to worry everything in everyday life and that includes the thoughts you have.

What it does mean is that you can be aware of what you're thinking and as soon as you get a negative thought you can make an immediate switch to positivity. For example, if you have a negative thought about a person you can think about something you like about the person or a fond memory of said person. Obviously you have to make this work for you but I find it keeps me in a positive frame of mind.

Have a nice day.

Our inner circle

Positive feelings and positive thoughts will display a totally different feeling than negative ones. I firmly believe, and know, that you have to choose the energies you surround yourself with, especially friends like Marie Callas, although I have not met her in real, I have always felt peace when I write to her.

Where I have become discerning is in the tight inner circle, surrounding myself with like minded, positive, ambitious people. These friends enhance my life and help me to be a better person, in all areas of my life, which is where I strive to be.

I am, and always have been, sensitive to other people's energy. I try to cultivate it to make it better. Anyone can stimulate and encourage this sense, simply by trusting and listening more closely to that inner voice. I feel women are usually more sensitive in this sense, that's why people say we have sixth sense.

The Secret

There is this movie called "The Secret", which explores about the wonders of human subconsciousness and law of attraction. It's extremely inspiring and it's the best ever movie I have ever seen in fact. It's more of a movie documentary. It is a 2006 release and it's not a Hollywood movie. It is only released by DVD through it's online store I believe.

It gives you the ability to understand how and why you have the power to mold your own life, and does so by giving you real-world, down to earth examples that just about anyone, in any situation, can relate to.

No, you don't have to be someone with larger than life problems to fully absorb what this movie has to offer. You simply have to be a person wanting more than what you have.. who doesn't?

If you believe in spirituality and positive attitude, I recommend you watch it. But if you are a person who is cynical, critical and likes to discredit honest works as shams, please turn your attention elsewhere.
