Colour of luck and vitality - Red

I read in a Chinese newspaper here about the spirituality of colours. I thought that is very interesting. It comes to the conclusion that human civilisations have a single common interpretation about the spirituality of the colours. It doesn't matter whether you are Chinese or Westerners, the meaning of red colour to both is very similar.

Here is the brief translation. Red is the colour of energy, vitality, luck and power. Isn't this explains why Chinese are obsessed with red? Red can lower your effects of illness and wounds. It can make you feel warm when you are in the cold. Red is also a powerful healing agent for healing diseases of the blood and circulation and also depression.

However, red is not to be used on people with high blood pressure or anxiety as it can make people feel more agitated. It is associated with luck too so businessman may consider decorating the offices in tones of red as it will draw in money.
